Betelgeuse's 'Great Dimming' was caused by a dark star-spot dropping temperature, study claims
The temperature of the surface between January and April 2020 was tracked by experts working at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, finding a 300F decrease in line with the dimming.
