Council spends £1,000 a DAY on a 'pothole consultant' to tackle backlog of 3,500 road repairs

Shropshire Council will use around £130,000 of taxpayers' cash to cover the cost of the consultant on a six-month contract as it attempts to tackle a backlog of 3,500 potholes in need of repair.
